TEN4CARE promotes European collaboration: strategic meeting with sister projects on the same topic

The TEN4CARE consortium has taken a fundamental step towards consolidating an innovation ecosystem in regenerative medicine by organising a key meeting with its sister projects. These are initiatives funded under the same European Union call (Topic: HORIZON-CL4-2024-RESILIENCE-01-36), focused on advanced biomaterials for the Health Care (IA).

This clustering meeting, part of the project’s Networking and Networks activities, brought together representatives from the six projects that share the common goal of revolutionising the healthcare sector through biopolymers and nanotechnology: GreenNenoBone, DAEDALUS, INJECTHEAL, NANOBEAT, HYDROHEAL and TEN4CARE itself.

Joining forces for greater social impact

The primary objective of this alliance is to maximise the use of resources and harmonise efforts in critical areas. These six projects have discussed the possibility of working closely together to:

  • Joint dissemination: sharing scientific advances and research results to enhance the visibility of European innovation in international forums.
  • Influencing public policy: collaborating on the drafting of strategic recommendations for EU policy makers and health authorities to facilitate future adoption.
  • Technical Synergies: Exchange lessons learned on the behaviour of smart biomaterials and the integration of digital tools.

Joint steps

The session laid the foundations for a common roadmap. The six projects are expected to take firm and coordinated steps, ensuring progress in 4D and smart materials, non-invasive procedures, advanced functionalities, and sustainability and circularity.

Under the coordination of the University of Pavia and with the support of Biokeralty, TEN4CARE reaffirms its leadership in building a more resilient and competitive European MedTech industry.
