RCL

Resonant Circuits Limited (RCL) is a medical device technology company that specialises in the development and manufacture of magnetic hyperthermia systems for therapeutic applications. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Resonant Circuits has participated in numerous UK and European research grants.

This work has supported a range of hyperthermia treatment modalities for use in glioblastoma, breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancer. We have just finalised a first-in-human safety study on pancreatic cancer using RCL technologies.

We are supported by a team of experts in the fields of magnetic detection, therapy, and the characterization of biocompatible materials that are used in conjunction with hyperthermia applications.

As work package leaders for WP8 (Design, development, and simulation of electromagnetic stimulation devices), RCL’s role in the Ten4Care project is to develop high-field, high-frequency magnetic field generators for in vitro and in vivo pre-clinical testing.
